Do you know if the drivers were installed correctly for the wireless card?
Is your network secured, and maybe you forgot to set up the encryption in Win7?
There are several possibilities, so please provide as much information as possible.

------------------------------ Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground, or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group.

I know no changes were made, but it is possible that Win7 couldn't find any drivers for your wireless card in the first place. Check device Manager to make sure the wireless card is enabled and working correctly.
To do that, open the start menu, type "device", and click "Device Manager" in the list of results. Under the heading of "Network Adapters" (I think), right-click your wireless network card, and click "Properties". Let us know what it says in the "Device Status" box.
