Hi,

Please could someone help me. I'm using Windows XP pro with a 160 gb
dymanic disk to store data on as my h:\ drive. After a reboot the
drive disappeared & in Computer Management it says it is offline & I
cannot reactivate it. I have used the command line function in
Microsoft's help & it says the drive is online.

Any advice appreciated!

Kind Regards

Steve

I recently read a post on player trouble that seems to be something like your issue. Perhaps reading it would give you some ideas.
You might need some kind of plug-in for the device.

<quote>
1. Turn on the MPIO player.
2. Connect the USB cable into the computer and MPIO player.
3. Open Windows Media Player.
4. Click on Copy to CD or Device (left side of Windows Media Player
screen).
5. Select Internal Memory pull down option under Items on Device (right
side of Windows Media Player screen).

6. Make Sure that the sign on the left of the MPIO Record folder is a (+),
if (-) please click it to change to a (+).

7. Click and highlight any song you already have on the player and thus
making the MPIO Record folder not highlighted.
8. Select Items to copy (left side of Windows Media Player screen).
9. Click on Copy button in the upper right of the Windows Media Player
screen.

10. Close the Windows Media Player after all the music is transferred
before you unplug the MPIO product from your PC.

If you are using a different type of device you will probably have to find
the specific windows media plug-in for your device. Hope this helps.
