Windows xp for core i3 processor

If you're looking to install this processor in your old laptop, you can forget it.
I'm thinking that you have a conflicting program that's making your computer crash when you try to install SP3. If you can, start in safe mode and install it then.

You need to have WinXP drivers.
Your model of Dell might - or might not - have XP drivers.
They'll be on the Dell website for that model if they are available.
