Having the pages up draws feedback and gives me a feel for demand. If
nobody emails me or posts expressing interest then I assume there's none and
I don't give them much attention. Baraka single handedly keeps the Missile
Command Multigame on my radar. ;-)

Multigame.com is just a hobby for me; I'm not looking for "paying
business"-- I've got way too much of that with my other businesses. I'll
keep making things available as I have the time as long as there's still
interest in them. It's not like the "old days" mind you (the hobby has died
down significantly), but it's a fun diversion for me and I'll probably keep
doing stuff in very small numbers as long as people want it.

You should have ordered earlier!
There's just not enough people
interested to merit the time and effort to do more at the moment, but
again-- I leave the product page up and once in a while someone says they'd
be interested in one if I make more. At some point that quantity gets large
enough that it'll be worth making a dozen or whatever and fill the demand.

That's generally how you get my attention. ;-) But like I say, it's a
hobby-- one that I spend time on when my other obligations are fulfilled.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. In all honesty, I'd say only
about 1% of the people that buy my kits actually post on this newsgroup...
I keep my orderforms updated with what's available and invite people to
email me if they want something that's out of production or that I haven't
finished yet. I'm going on nine years of doing this now-- products come and
go, some come back after being discontinued (Williams Multigame), some don't
(Wells Gardner Display Correctors), and some may or may not return in the
future (Q*Bert Multigame).
In the meantime, people like DaveW, MarkS, ScottB, etc. can always fill the
gaps with their own kits for stuff if they think there's enough demand to do
so and they have the time to take it on. Part of the reason you don't see a
lot of new kits is that it's generally not a "money maker" for people
anymore-- you've got to be doing it largely out of personal interest in the
hobby and less for profit... I'd love to just make kits for old games all
day, but that as a sole source of income is incompatible with my desired
lifestyle. ;-)
Thanks for the feedback at any rate...
