Can I plug in my Gateway NV78 into 220V?

Hello, i am visiting Germany, i have a Gateway NV78 laptop, can i just plug it in into the powersocket here? Since I am usualy using 110V in the US, would 220V fry it through? Thanks for reading my question.

buy yourself a adaptor to lower from 240 to 120 your laptop was not build to work on 240

It depends on your AC adapter. Look at the little power brick, if it says 110-240v then your good to go. If it only says 110v your going to either need a universal AC adapter than can support 220-240v or a transformer.
