Radeon 9700 Pro not working HELP!!!

I just got my Radeon 9700 Pro and it wors in windows, but when i go to run any 3 d program my computer just restarts.

I run Win XP
Fic VI39L Mother board with Sis 651 chipset.
I took out the Radeon 9000LE
I have all the newest drivers installed and just formatted my computer. Does anyone know why it would be doing this I am very mad right now any help would be great!!!

I fear you either bought it from ebay and it's broke.. like mine have all been.
Or..
There is something small being overlooked.
Etc.. powercord , drivers off of the site.. or the cd they gave you.
Or a big one with that card.. not enough power from your powersupply.
They say 300w.. but if you have some fans and a newer cpu.. most likely you'll want at least a 350w. A brand name 350w at that..
(but of course)
The first way to find out if the card is broken after powercord and drivers are installed, is to test it on another computer that has a sufficient powersupply.

I got it to work I downclocked the video card to 230mhz core and memory and it works fine. I think it is because i have PC2100 (266mhz) memory cause anytime i got above 250mhz it crashes after about 5- 10 min. if i go above 266 it crashes after about 3 sec. So i think i am going to get some pc3200 does the Sis 651 chipset support it that high?

If underclocking fixes it you likely have a bad card or weak power supply.
