Trouble with Radeon 9200

I had a Pentium 3-733 and a Gigabyte Radeon 9200. It was nice.
Then I went crazy and upgraded for no real good reason. I got a Gigabyte M7NCD mobo, an Athlon 2600+ Barton and 512 MB DDR-333.
I installed the whole thing. It worked, but I had to sort some HD jumpers, so I had to take the discs out and back in, and at some point the thing stopped working.
I'd turn it on, and it emitted a long beep followed by three short ones. No video. I pushed it and pulled it. No change.
So, I pulled out the video card and put in muy olf Geforce2 GTS. It worked, no problems. I put in the Radeon. No go. Back goes the Geforce. It works.
So, I'm using the Geforce. So, my question is, can anyone offer any ideas? I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything that could have damaged the Radeon. Not only do I turn off the PC before pulling or pushing cards, I physically unplug it.
My AGP voltage is 1.5 V... I'm thinking maybe I need to increase it. Any other idea would be most welcome.

  1. You sound like rramjet.

If you aren't rramjet, Ignore that bit. It sounds like you have a bad card. RMA it.

If you are rramjet, I heartily encourage you to eat my feces. Warm.

  2. I don't know who you're talking about, and I DO need the help.
I don't think the card is defective, as it was working fine in my old comp.
  3. My mistake, I got the impression that you upgraded because your old system died.

Well, the first step is to try the video card on another system and see if it works.
