Hello. I am considering purchasing this laptop http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=919900
I was wondering if the onboard ATi mobility Radeon would work decently well with Diablo 2 LoD, Soldier of Fortune 2, and Quake 3(mainly Diablo 2). I don't like the sound of shared memory. So what do yall think? Thanks,

It should be able to run the games you stated but I'm not sure if you can run all of them on top settings. As for newer games you will run into some trouble, although they will probably run at lower graphics and fps.

Don't hold me to this but that's what I think if you want to play older games it will suffice however newer games will suck, IMO.

[EDIT} PS the shared memory will suck and it also worries me there is not a more specific statement as to which generation the card is.

If all else fails: Read The Manual
Edited by toxicogen on 12/15/03 08:16 AM.

I agree with toxicogen: If you want to be able to play those games nicely, I suggest you look elsewhere.
