Overdrive

I'm probably just making a fool of myself (again),
but where is the overdrive feature for my Radeon? I have Catalyst 3.9 installed, but after scouring the options I still cant find it.

I spend my time here hoping that one day I might learn something.

You need to have a Radeon XT card.

Like a 9600XT or 9800XT.

It should look like the graphic in <A HREF="http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/radeon/r9800xt-2.html" target="_new">this review</A>. It should have it's own tab in the control panel with just a little box to check/tick..

I had it with my XT, I used the drivers <b>and</b> control panel from ATi's website.

Now I'm using Omega's in combination with the RageTweak Overclocker(I dont install the tweak part of the utility because I dont find it usefull & Omega recommends not using it.)

I noticed that the Omega driver focused on quality. Have you noticed a dropp in performance when you installed it?

Have you noticed a dropp in performance when you installed it?

Yes...barely. I havent tried benching with them because it would be pointless. I can afford a slight drop in performance now that I have a card with a 256bit memory controller
