Newbie - Easy way to delete To-Do items?

I've just started using a Palm m500 -- primarily the "To Do List".

However, I find it annoying that I have to do four clicks to delete an
item --
1) select the todo item
2) click DETAILS
3) click DELETE
4) click OK when asked to confirm.

Is there an easier way (other than using the PC sync software)? Is
there a third-party software that will delete "completed" to do items?

Thanks in advance,
vince

The menu option "Record|Purge" deletes all task items marked complete.
