Arcade Monitor Help!

Is there anyone in the Cleveland, Ohio area (Strongsville) that could
make a house call to help me with my arcade monitor? It is a Wells
Gardner 25K7193 monitor. This is for a mame machine. I currently have
a picture that rolls horribly, is a little washed out, and I have small
white/grey horizontal lines going across the screen. I have very
little knowledge or experience with this and need help desperately.
Thanks.

What video card are you using?
what is your set-up mame32, DOSmame, or advance mame?
What is your PC Speed?
I have a working mame setup that I scratch built, I also had video output
problems at first.
I am hoping to sometime soon get a arcadeVGA card but as of right now I am
using a 128 meg ATI card. It is working great with my 25" arcade monitor.

On the back of the monitor is a approx. 2" x 3" small black housing with
a red wire running out of it to the back of the tube. Take the bottom
knob on the black unit (there are two knobs) and turn it
counter-clockwise just a bit. That should fix the lines across the
screen and the washed out bit. If you have a small remote hooked up to
the monitor chassis with wires between it and the chassis, it makes
adjusting the picture easier. If there is no remote, you will need to
find the knob marked h. hold and try to stop the rolling. It may be the
vertical hold that needs adjusting also. I'm not 100% sure what you
mean by rolling. Chances are it is the vertical hold that needs a small
adjustment. Touching these knobs pose no threat to you. touching the
red wire while the monitor is on does. You aren't that disparate yet.
These are simple adjustments that you should be able to handle. If you
have no remote for the chassis, it helps to have a friend stand in front
with a mirror so that you can see what effect your adjustments have.

Good luck.
