installation probs

right...im having some issues with my system so i really need some help

basically every time i install my card i get stability issues...ive tried various drivers including omegas...which btw forced me to re-install windows as it caused registry problems

my system is as follows

asus k8v deluxe
a64 3200+
corsair xms 3200 cl2 512mb
wb caviar 120gb
soundmax onboard sound
plexwriter 40x24x10

everything has the current drivers except the graphics...this includes directx as well oh and i have the internet running..obviously lol

im running on a genuine win xp sp1 and everything is at stock speed
the offending card is my his ice-q platinum rad9800 pro

Do you know what brand power supply (PSU) you have, and what are its ratings???

cant remember brand but its a gold 550w twin fan psu
meant to be quite good...

all sorted for now...i very carefully re-installed everything starting from the 4-1 drivers then dx9 then cat 3.10
had to turn off vpu recover apart from this its fine
even got smartgart picking up my agp as 8x so fingers crossed
you'll soon hear from me if it plays up....curse the A64 stability...almost wish i kept my msi ti4200 lol
