Is it possible to get a wirless connection with Win xp pro on an Acer 3830T plea

Hi all,
Have finally managed to get win xp pro onto the 3930t, but I can't seem to be able to get wifi on it?? Anyone know how to get the drivers for win xp pro on this Acer and what devices to look for please?

Here's the support page listing wireless drivers at the bottom of the page. Do you have a user manual that lists your wireless card or can you go in to Device Manager and find which model you have?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Of the choices in cmichael138's link, use http://www.pcidatabase.com to find the driver.

If in Device Manager>{device}Details tab>HardwareIDs, the code is 8086 it's Intel. For Atheros look for 103C and 0A5C is Broadcom and finally Realtek is 1039.

Once PCIdatabse points you to the Vendor, use the Edit>Find menu to enter the DEV ID and follow the trail to the maker's website for that driver.
