I think you are talking about an FX5900LX vs a FX5900XT, out of which I dont know which is better. Although to be honest getting either of those cards for £85 was a really good deal. Where did you get that deal by the way? (Im in UK too)

I also managed to get the 5900lx for £95.
The only problem is that they were out of stock,so i paid my money and will get my new card as soon as it's in stock.

This is an absolute bargain and i thought that i'd missed out due there being none left but the pcworld sales helpline told me to go and pay for one and they will honour the price.
Who would have thought that pcworld would be so helpfull.

Leadtek's FX5900 LX card IS a FX5900XT. LX is simply Leadtek's name for its version of the XT card. its engine clock speeds and memory clock speeds are identical. According to benchmarks due to the XT's lower latency on its slower memory compared to a normal FX5900 non ultra it pretty much runs just as good as a normal FX5900 non ultra. You got yourself a really good deal. You got a FX5900 card for the same price as an OEM version of a 9600 Pro.
