9600xt scambled screen not frozen

when i got my 9600xt i put it in and the screen did not turn on it was all connected properly. I got into bios by hitting delete just after the computer is restarted and finding the agp voltage and i changed it form auto to 1.6v and it worked for me. but about 3hrs after use my card scambled all the collours and doent work properly i have tried it in multiple computer but is all the same i am unsure if this is linked to what i did in bios or not but i sujest you try it my motherboard is a a7v8x.

please help i dont want this happening again.

I looked at the ati web site about 2 days ago and checked the version names the were like 6.10 sumething and mine were 6.10.sumthing slightly differnet and i just downloaded the display one cause i have dial up and it made no difference
