WC3 sound

I am having problems with the videos in WC3, there is no sound when they load, intromovie, or any videos in the game, if I run them in windows they play with sound just fine... all other sounds in the game work fine... what is wrong ??

no-one shouts louder than someone who is being ignored, or in the case of techies, to be heard over the noise of their PC's ;-)

I have a bigger problem than that...the videos dont play with sound in game or in windows for me. So i've seen them, but i've still never heard them or the dialogue in them. In windows when i run it in media player...if i mess with the fastfoward rewind slider i'll get small bits of the sound coming through but it cuts right out. I have nothing muted....

So...bewildering problem, no other sound issues on my pc at all...with any of the 5 billion games i have...
