when i plug in BOTH RCA wires it silents the bass.. when i unplug one it bumps harder than before.

I DONT KNOW WHY!!!!
i tried bridging them? running both pos and negs into one spot. and it makes my speakers sound crappy. i tried running a pos to the pos onto the other speaker and running one set of cables to my amp. and they sounded like crap too.. i also put one set of pos & neg into chan 1. and the other 2 in chan 3, or 4. it still sounds like crap. the amp i have is a legacy and it has a can 1& 2 slot, and theres nothing plugged in. so i wonder if thats it

By pos and neg are you referring to white-red? Or are you referring to taking apart the RCA connectors and re-soldering the pos and neg wires?
Dont change neg-pos to pos-neg, the reason it makes it sound like crap is because by doing so makes the speaker cone direct the sound backwards into the speaker enclosure and not outwards like it should. Do you have any other subwoofers and speakers that you can test it on?

Does the amp support the speaker and it could be the cables try different diameters.
