All of my files in "My Documents" somehow have been
designated as "Read Only." I have tried to change the
designation using the "Properties - General tab - Change
Read Only option" and it doesn't change all of the files
and subfolders. How can I affect this change?

Hi Bob,

Are you looking at the file properties or the folder properties? Read-only
is normal on a folder, and this attribute is ignored by the system on the
directory level - it only applies to files.
