Which to choose

Hey guys,
I'm in a desperate need to upgrade I have a 3 year old Dell computer PIII 1Ghz (a dinosaur compared to most people by now) with an Intel 820 motherboard & 512MB RDRAM
I can't upgrade my processor coz nobody sells Pentium 3 processors anymore. However I'm dying to change my graphic card but since I'm on a budget I don't know which graphic card I should go with. So far I've currently been able to find the following cards:

Geforce4 TI 4600 128MB from ASUS
Radeon 9700 Pro
GeforceFX 5200 128MB from MSI

I have a preference for Nvidia based cards which one should I choose ?

I find it interesting that your choices include a midum-high Geforce Ti4600 and Radeon 9700 Pro and then you include a lowend Geforce 5200 in there. Just what sorta budget do you have?

Get a ~$100 GeForce4 Ti4200.

If you plan to upgrade soon, then buy Radeon 9700 PRO or Radeon 9800 PRO 128 MB

Try with the Geforce4 Ti4200 128MB or a Radeon 9500Pro 128MB if you are able to pay a bit more for it. You will still have some problems with the last games because of the CPU. In you possition i would buy the Geforce4 Ti4200 128MB so you would save some money for a future upgrade in the next 6 or 12 months, and by that time your GF4 will be still powerfull enaugh to play the new games at starndard settings.

You can probably upgrade your processor to a PIII-S 1.4GHz with 512k cache. This is a server processor and would require a Tualatin adapter.

The 9700 Pro has over 2x the power of the FX5200.

Im going with the ti4600 on this one. Its probably the best thing Nvidia has ever released. Could get this one e-bay for about 100 bucks. If you had the money you could go for the gold and get the 9700 pro bu honestly you system will hinder the tru capability of that card.

I thank u all for going through this with me,
unfortunately I don't live in the US so I have to do with whatever's available around here & unfortunately for me again the prices here are a wee little bit too xpensive the guys here are a bunch of thieves I found both the Radeon 9800 XT from ATI & a GeforceFX 5950 from ASUS both cards are priced at exactly $720 which is totally insane.
However given my system specs PENTIUM III 1GHz do u think it would be wise for me to upgrade to either one of these cards will I be getting all the juice from the cards with my current system specs.I know as well that some games like DeusEx Invisible War won't even work on my PC bcoz of it's slow speed.
As I said b4 I have a preference for nvidia cards. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've played Jedi Academy at a friends place on a RADEON 9800 pro & I've tried it as well on Geforce4 Ti4600; I've found the game to look better on the Geforce card I dunno if any of u would agree with me.
Now given that both the 9800XT & the FX5950 are available & that I'm going on a week's diet without food for extra silicon & transistors which one would u advise me to buy.
