I'm trying to enter add or remove programs on Windows XP. Every time I try I
get a small box that reads, parse error " at line one

I ran McAfee Antispyware and nothing was found
Also McAfee Virus scan again nothing was found

I have no idea what caused this error to pop up nor do I in correcting it.

I ran into this same exact problem after installing SP1 and using the
"Forever Blue" theme/Styles XP. Change to a standard XP theme. Use
Add/Remove. Then reinstate your preferred theme.
