Bright Red desktop!

Hi all you Tom's peeps-you've always solved my problems before, so here goes:

I am running a Sapphire 9800 Pro. It works fine when surfing the web, mail, non-intensive programs blah blah. When playing an MMORPG for over 2 hours or so, when I exit the game my desktop background is bright red! (It's usually a ripply blue). Refreshing the desktop won't bring it back but if I go into display and desktop and just click OK, *poof*, it's back to the original colour.

Running WinXP Pro, card is minimally OC'd by 10 mhz. It runs the games fine, no other problems except the bright red ugly desktop. If it were a nicer colour, I wouldn't care.

Which game is it? It doesn't sound like a heat issue, it sounds like the desktop isn't refreshing after the games clears from memory so it's probably a known issue for that particular game. Also, what version of Catalyst drivers are you using?

The game is Dark Age of Camelot. I am running Catalyst 3.10.
