FTP site setup

I currently have two computer running windows 200 network together sharing a cable line. I am trying to setup a ftp server. can anyone provide me with some help or some online references pls. I have a some knowledge on the networking but not much about the Ftp.. thx all

1st: Make sure the FTP is installed on the Win2K prof (IIS 5.0).Start the service
go to the Internet Service Manager (in Control Panel/Admin. tools)right click on the "default FTP" icon.
Select Properties, specify a directory under the "Home directory" tab. Make sure the "Security Account" tab is set to anonymous Connections. That's it !
You can now acces it by using IE and typing: ftp://machinename:21 (21 is the default port for FTP)
Is there a specific reason for you to use FTP instead of sharing a folder ?
