1. What is your budget? 1kish

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 15.6" and down

3. What screen resolution do you want? Over 1366x768

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? In between

5. How much battery life do you need? A good 6+ hours when not gaming,

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Medium or High

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) School work

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 500gb+

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? 1-3 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? none

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. No preference

13. What country do you live in? USA
Also I want over 4gb ram.

I got my current laptop from this seller, refurbished.

It only comes with a 90-day warranty, mind you, but you can get a one or two year warranty from HP or Squaretrade for around $100-$250 depending on the terms and length of it.

I wish there was. I want 1600 x 900 in my laptop too. and Lenovo has great options. only thing holding me back is the resolution. I know the Thinkpad has up gradable resolution.
