Hello this is my first post on here and really hope you can help.
I have a HP G70 17" Laptop which has a strange problem.
The laptop boots fine but the screen does not show anything and the backlight come on when screen is closed then opened. When a external monitor is connected it works 100% correctly.
I have stripped the computer down to try and find any suspicious connections with no luck.
My question is could it be a faulty screen, cable or could it even be the power button board which contains the screen switch as the external monitor works i guess the mobo is ok.
