Waited on a Ti4600.

I saw a deal I couldn't refuse. This card has been on the shelf at this store for over a year, and oddly enough, Electronics Boutique is not where you'd think to find graphics cards, well, not at a a cheap price anyway. The PNY Ti4600 that was marked at $289.99 finally came down to $99. The card is quiet. Very Quiet. I had to touch the fan to make sure it was on. I could swear my ATi 9100 was louder.
This had a sweet looking chrome PNY heatsink, but I'll probably get that Upgrade kit from Comp USA at least for the Ramsinks. That BGA memory is so nice to see on that card.
Surprisingly it only went to 10450 on 3D 2001. I was expecting 12000 or more. I'm sorta shocked cause dis was suppose tu be da bomb, but, uh, da blast jess ain't widdit yet, dig? Yo, help a bruddah out! YO!!!

3dMark score doesn't seem way off to me. Your CPU is probably holding you back.

I have a 5400 rpm hard drive too, so..... I hope to get a steal on a 7200 8mb cache deal if I can be ready. I hope to make some head-room there . Do ya think?
It's a Western Digi 5400, but I figure they're all at about the same 9-10 ms anyway/? WD 4000EB
