What sort of pop ups? If they are your normal Internet pop ups SpyBot
doesn't block those. Download the Google Tool Bar, it's got a very good and
simple pop up blocker and it's free.

What are they related to? Some game?
Quite a few have intermittent pop-ups advertising other games in their
range, which is incorporated in the software. You cant do much about it
except close the pop-up.
RocketMania is a good example - expect a pop-up at least once a week.
Why on earth you tried to uninstall IE has me beat, as you've probably done
iirreparable damage by now.

Yow, don't try to remove IE, it is needed by the system!!! Instead try to
find any software in Add/Remove programs that you think your friends may have
added.
Try using Ad-Aware SE, a free download, as well...I find something every
time I load it.

I personally have three anti spyware programs running. One will never be
able to get rid of all of them. I am ruunning Microsofts new antispyware
program it is very very good you can find it here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads [...] 6a57-4c57-
a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en, I am also running spybot search and
destroy you can find that here:
http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index.html, On top of that i am running
Webroot Spysweeper this one is not free but it is my primary program and
will get rid of the most stuff you can find it here:
http://www.webroot.com/downloads/? [...] 3e4c11d7db
Good luck in trying to get rid of all of it. You should run these programs
in safe mode. since most of the programs you are trying to remove will
reinstall themselves after removal. SO boot in safemode without network
support. This should get rid of all of your probelms. But please be sure to
use more than one.

Regards,
Mark
