Trying to find a decent gaming laptop for my friend so we can play together. If it could play Diablo 3 on medium that would be great.

HP DV6t Quad Edition (i7-3610QM, GT 650M, 15.6" 1920x1080 matte display) - $899 + tax after coupon code NBP8784
- Don't downgrade the GPU to the GT 630M
- Don't downgrade the display to 1366 x 768*

Sager NP6165 (i5-2450M, GT 650M, 15.6" 1920x1080 glossy display) - $949 no tax
- Select "Windows 7" under "Operating System"

*15.6" 1366x768 displays make things onscreen large, and tend to have terrible image quality due to low contrast. I recommend against laptops that have this type of display to those who have a budget that allows them to get a laptop that has a better display and at the same time suits their needs, and who don't require larger text for eyesight-related reasons.

Well, if increasing the price to approximately $999 won't be a problem, I'd suspect there's more to look at. Toshiba's Quismo series is on sale this week. You can grab one for $999. Free headphones and GTX 560m.

However, if even a little extra may hurt you, I can understand. I'm pretty much in a slightly similar situation. :p

The Y570 is not a particularly good option in the general case, because it has a 15.6" 1366x768 resolution display. For reasons stated above, I recommend to avoid this type of display. Regarding the Qosmios, most of them have this same type of display, or 17.3" 1600x900 displays which are just as poor.
