Wow, Radeon 9800 Pro Price Drop! A few days ago it was $255 for an oem, now I saw $229 on pricewatch, which they have since raised to $234. but the retail Saphire is $235. Ah man, I don't need it, BUT I WANT IT!

current score with the 9500 pro? I will post a link when i get that system hooked up tomorrow. I have a new build going on that desk right now. Off hand I'd say Without any overclocking at all, it scored 3,77x with the Cat 3.10 drivers. In 3dmark2001se it scored 13,5xx

There will be a HUGE jump in score if you plug in the radeon 9800 pro.

Barton 2500+ @ 2200mhz (10x220 vcore @ 1.8)
Asus A7N8X Dlx 440 FSB
1gb Geil GD pc3500 Dual Channel (2-3-3-6)
Segata 80gb SATA 8.5ms seek
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro(420/720)

Yeah I figure it will. I mostly would like the Radeon 9800 Pro to be able to turn on FSAA and Aniso at 1280x1024. I currently play at 1280x1024 now but have to turn that down to mess with FSAA settings.

I would without question prefer a Built By ATI Card over that Sapphire. But the built by's are $267 ($32 more) right now. The Sapphire at $235 is calling me. If it drops again soon, I'll have to give in.

Sapphire for $235?? Tempting, very tempting. I'll try to force myself to wait for the new cards to come out in a few months though.
