Being a poor student, I risked eBay and bought a second hand GF4Ti4400. Now, upon installing it I get a garbled screen (the image is split into blocks and smeared all over the screen - errr sort of). Obviously I have the latest drivers etc etc but the error occurs before XP even starts to boot. The machine reboots during the loading of XP, but will boot XP in safe mode (with the same garbled image).
What I'd like to know is, is the card dead or am I doing something wrong? Is it fixable?
My machine is a Shuttle 41G2, nForce2, 2.4GHz Athlon, running XP.
