Ive hooked up cable to modem to router to computer.
Computer says it cannot hook to internet. Pinging is not
working it shows run timed out, ive looked at ip
addresses nothing seems to work what else can i do to get
the router to talk to the computer

Have you contacted your cable company to make sure you've got the right
settings programmed in the router? Which router do you have?
