Hello,

I bought a 9800xt card from orders@asus.org.uk but its been 2 months and all my e-mails and phone calls have not been answered. I paid £270 for the card and im powerless to do anything atm.

I was wondering if there is a watchdog in the uk that covers this sort of thing. It would be greatly appriciated ty.

270 pound translated into about 400 US dollars? I am not good with money conversion.

If you got it for £279 you were probably screwed. All of the XT's Ive seen have been going for around £330. Who the hell is that company anyway? You bought it straight from Asus? And yeah there is a watchdog in the UK, its called 'watchdog' and its on BBC (not sure when), you could try ringing them up, although they usually deal with more domestic issues.

ty for those who replied trying to help and those who act like kids pls get a life.

yes i got it from asus since the domain of the e-mail its under asus' ownership so i gather i didnt buy it from somebody trying to screw me. Also i was looking for a proper internet watchdog or smth liek that...u know, ppl who deal with this kind of things.

It won't help, but you can go to ResellerRatings.com and put out a warning.

Dude you must be really bored by those snows in UK and come to troll in the forum???

Just a reminder, next time use .com instead of .org to give youself a bit more credit. As by my memory Asus doesn't sale products over EMAIL and certainly it doesn't have the so call orders@asus.org.uk.(asus doesn't use .org dude)

I am totally amazed that someone actually fall for that scam and come to forum and seeking help. LOL

Well on the web page there's a link in the upper right corner with "contact us" on it. Click it, and then contact them. You will notice that the email address you listed isn't there.

Contact Mothercorp and see what they say.
