hi i've moved to the uk and am trying to buy a mains
adaptor for my mn-500. i know it's 12vdc, 500ma but i
can't find the right plug for the base station. i've tried
a universal model with 6 different plugs and none of them
fit the base station. does any one know the "technical
term" for the type of plug this is and if it may be
available in the uk? calling electrical and pc shops
without this info is useless!!! thanks!

It is an EIAJ-04 with center positive, 10mm deep. Just
make sure you have the correct wall transformer for the
voltage. It's not 120 as you know. A 120v wall
transformer won't last very long.

A little more info might help. The EIAJ connectors are identified by a
yellow ring around the end. The 04 connector has a center pin. There
are only two sizes of EIAJ conectors with a center pin.
Let us know how it goes.
