Omega 4.1 made me lost like 10 fps in halo.......going back to cata

My own beast: Athlon 2700xp+ (oc: 3200xp+ with 200fsb) , Radeon 9800pro (oc: 410/370) , 512mb ddr400. SO MUCH faster than my last computer (pIII 550......)

I'm not a big gamer, but I think Halo got a boost with CAT 4.1. I have an "old" 8500 and now I can actually play Halo! Wow!

Scuez me, but I think Halo is one of the worst example on how to port a console game to PC. I can't understand why this game is so slow when we that the engine is more than 2 years old. I know that it was heavily nVidia optimized. But, I can't believe how slow the game is on my Radeon 8500 aven at 640x480.

At least, now, with latest CAT drivers I can play the game in 800x600 (medium quality) with decent FPS and not much slow down.

Seems like you haven't seen pro evolution soccer 3 in a pc.Play it and you will change your opinion about which is the worst transef of a game from console to pc.
