Just wondering if this ok or not:
4212 in 3dmark03(demo version), last build.

My system:
AMD Athlon 2400+
ASUS A7N8X
256x2 Infineon in dual channel
60GB WD 8mb
9800Pro 128 mb, built by ATI
XP Pro.
Hi?Low?Medium?OK?Should I expect more?

I have 5306 with a P42800-FSB800, Asus P4P800, 512DDR-400, Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb but I've been told that I shuold get at least 5900/6000...

That seems a bit low, is af and aa turned off? I think benchmarks really don't matter as long as you can play all the games you want. I would expect that to at *least* break 5000. 3dmark03 is really based on the video card, the processor does effect it a little but not by much. How does it compare to other similiar systems on their compare page?

I have a Hercules 9800pro (128mb) and i get around 5,300-5,400 but overclocked to 5,800+. System specs below.


My system:
AMD Athlon Barton 3000xp+ @ 2,308mhz 14x166.
ATI Radeon Hercules 9800pro 128mb @ 412/365.
WD 120gb 7,200rpm 8mb cache.
512mb twinmos pc3200 @ 2,2,2,6.
ASUS a7v8x-x Mobo.

His setting in the control pannel are probably not right.


i get 62xx dont remember the 2 other number :/ i think its 6243


My own beast: Athlon 2700xp+ (oc: 3200xp+ with 200fsb) , Radeon 9800pro (oc: 410/370) , 512mb ddr400. SO MUCH faster than my last computer (pIII 550......)

Hi there, i think that you should be getting more! I get arround 5400 3D Mark03 score.Check AA and Anisotropic at display properties!My system is simmilar to yours:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Abit NF7-S rev 2.0 mobo
1x512MB RAM (Kingston)
Club3D Radeon 9800 Pro (Cat 3.9)
Seagate Baracuda IV 60GB (SATA)
Windows XP Pro
...nothing overclocked.

I get nearly as high, <A HREF="http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=765996" target="_new">4168</A> (old score kept to honour the fallen) , with my Radeon 9600Pro on an XP2000+, running in single channel DDR 333 (DDR400 running 333)memory.

My settings were 2x 2x and texture and mipmap on high,trueform off.I set them up on app pref.
I re-ran 3dmark and now i got 5329.
Now looks better, weird thou that 2x and 2x makes such a big diff.

What can't post a link to an actual score?

Not a bad score though.

However, just FYI, jpegs don't count around here, only the real thing.

Too much Photoshop out there.
