Hi...ignore the last post I put up about the 9600 etc. I am not willing to spend more than $150 on a video card. And so far I've been looking at the geforce4 ti4200, Radeon 9200 pro. Please note that I need it to support more graphically demanding games. What card do you guys think is the best for under $150?

ti4200 hands down

the 9200pro is a stripped down, bargain basement card

the Ti4200 was originally released as a top end model

Yeah...but remember the 9200 pro is only 70 bucks...that's half the price ofthe ti. Now if i'm willing to pay 150 dollars...is the ti4200 the absolute best card for that amount of money???? Remmeber...I can get the 9600 pro for the price of the ti4200...is the ti still the better deal??

You can get a sapphire or powercolor 9600 pro for a little under 150 bucks. My friend has a powercolor 9600 pro and its pretty nice. I would get that over the ti 4200 any day.

9600 PRO is the obvious choice.

The next step down is the Ti4200.

The problem with the strict $150 limit is this:

The 9600 Pro cost just under $150. The cheaper EZ versions have slow RAM. And the 9600XT's are going for around $158. So you can see that the extra $10 to get an XT could be well spent.
