How is the HP G6 Laptop for gaming and multimedia?

Hi Guys,

I've found quite a nice HP G6 laptop within my budget, however I'm not sure whether the specs are good enough for some moderate gaming. (By that I mean probably playing 2-3 year old games on such as Napoleon Total War, Minecraft etc..)

More about laptop gaming multimedia
  1. Games will run fine with HD6520g on it. It is fine for you. But if you find a laptop with intel cpu, it will run more fine. Like hp g4 1018tu. It is without gpu and around $600. It can run most of the latest game in low res smoothly(batman: arkham city, fear 3 etc).

You can look for a laptop like that g4 with gpu will be very good for you. It will be in your price range.($800)
  2. Hi Mubin,

Thanks for your reply, I also have seen a refurbished HP DV6 for the same price but its refurbished.

    Would the DV6 perfrom better?

    Thanks
  3. Depends on model that has better configuration. Look for a laptop with i5 and discrete graphic.
