I wasn't too happy with UT2003. I really missed the Assault mode, so I'm glad to see that that's back! I'm loving the demo but wasn't too impressed with the graphics. I read the Readme that came with it and it said the texture res will be double for the full version, they claimed that they had to lower the resolution otherwise the file would be too large to download. IMO it's too small, i'd rather dl a larger file and see nicer graphics. BTW, it's running great at 1280*1024 on my R9500Pro (stock speeds) not a single hiccup

It should. The UT engine is one of the best scaling engines out there.

I remember running UT2003 on my secondary computer (used to be a Radeon 7500) and being amazed at the framerates.

This game really got me hooked. I love the vehicles. IMO its better than 2003. played last night and played it again this morning. I cant wait to get the DVD edition.

Vapor like UT2k4.

Too bad it's only a demo and the textures aren't quite up-to-snuff....Oh well, I can say I run it at full detail (available at least) @ 1600x1200--never could do that with 2k3. Weird that my Ti4400 isn't showing any artifacts at 315/621...even when every other game and demo has been showing artifacts at stock speeds ever since I turned my card up to 315/650.

Oh yeah, I don't like the menus or the text in them, tough to read and very ugly....good thing it's only a demo .

Overall--an excellent demo.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.
