R.I.P. 9800 PRO!

In this fine suuny morning.. The fan stopped for no reason! Club 3d card died! If someone have a card of this brand and had bad experiences with it please say here! Because I'm considering other 9800 Pro. Thank you!

2 year waranty. And I will get a new one send by the store were I bought it in 8 days.. but I'm afraid it will happen again... Should I try to change brands? Thanks!

Never hear of them OEM. I like to stick with ATI or Hercules. Could get the Iceberg silent cooler on your replacement.

Is it easy to install a new cooler on the card?

Yep.

As a matter of course, I will remove the cooler on any video card I get, just to peel/scrape off that worthless thermal tape and replace it with some arctic silver thermal paste... you know, something that actually conducts heat.

If you've got the right sandpaper, it doesn't hurt to lap the heatsink either, if you've got it off anyways.

Not sure if they are a subsidiary, but their cards are made by PC, like most of ATI's BBAs are made by Sapphire.
