Inno 3D GeForce 3 Ti200 Problems

I know that many people have trouble with the Inno 3D GeForce 3 Ti200, mainly fan failures which result in the GPU burning out.
This card is OK, good performance for the price, beats all the GF4 MX range.
Just warning you that this card doesn't like overclocking, i overclocked it and now the card displays static fuzzy lines and marks in games.

I e-mailed Inno3D, no repsonse of course. This may be a brand to avoid, even if the performance is good enough.
Anyone else had trouble?

Regards, John.

It could be power supply. Overclocking the chip to higher speed will cause a 300watts psu to bulk.

Inno3d is not pretty good of a company, tho their boards are cheap.

System Spec:

AMD Athlon XP2100+
Asus A7N8X-D
256 DDR PC3200
Seagate 40GB Baracuda IV
Artec WRR52x
3D Blaster 4 Ti4800SE 8x (in place of GF3 Ti200)

I will put a replacement GF3 if i can get one in another system.

can you beleive it, i've just purchased a Inno3d Geforcefx 5200 two days ago, and it runs cool @ 250Mhz clock. The fan looks quite unsure yet, but i haven't experience major heat problems with it. I won't oc this video card.

Inno3d is cheap which is tempting,
it's just their FANS are quite dull.

Maybe the best manufacturer you can get is gainward.
Just be wary with their naming scheme. A 5600 ultra is currently a future-proof gpu. of choice unless you'll upgrade your mobo sooner.
