The easiest install and to use by far is Mandrake. Of course, redhat is fairly easy as well and you will always better support with redhat since it is the most widely accepted. I know that when I fooled with Mandrake I thought it was a little 'too easy' if you catch my drift...I mean, I've been using unix and linux since 1994 and everything was taken care of for me with redhat and mandrake so I didn't get any chance to REALLY optimize or configure until after they were installed. I'd recommend either Mandrake or Redhat. And go to the site Six was talking about, linuxiso.org....It's the best site for linux distro's on the web. It's the one and only place I go to.
