I'm trying to find a low cost solution to displaying 7 or 8 screens of differing information simultaneously on the same machine. What graphics cards can display 3 or 4 monitors? Redraw rates are not critical since each screen will only be updated every 10seconds or so.
the easiest and probably cheapest is the Matrox G200MMS. I picked mine up on ebay for about 90. setups a breeze and the 2d performance is great. I've tested a G450 (dual) and 2 G200MMS cards (quads), for a total of 10 monitors.
