Why the hell my Gf FX 5600 has 8xAA (witch is obvious that can't handle with it) and my 9800 Pro manages only 6x? I would expect the oposite! Ati is known for its crushing performance with high quality optimizations on so isn't strange that?

4X on the Radeon probably looks better than 8X on FX. Shoot, even at 2X AA the radeon seems to make a difference.

Right on, 2x AA on ATi is about the same as 4x on Nvidia. My brother has a ti4200 and i can clearly see the difference between them.

PS. nvidia 2x AA is almost useless...

The Nvidia cards could call their AA 299x and it would still be inferior to Ati's
