If you are tempted to buy a new DX 9.0 card soon for HL2/ FarCry, Doom3... Well, Add this to your wish list. It seems NVidia is releasing a lighter version of the FX5200?

LOL Like we really need a DX9 card less capable than the FX5200?

There have been 64-bit versions of the 5200 since the GPU was released. These videocards are worse than useless, with performance comperable to Geforce2 MXs.

Nvidia just didn't bother calling them "SE", screwing over customers more than can be imagined. Maybe some partners are now calling them SE, I'm not sure.

That is news to me. I bought an retail FX5200 refurbished card cheap, for some benchmarking many months ago. I knew it was bad, but it was fun to have for a while. I never knew they had a slower version. Ugh, poor sap who comes home with one of those because he fell for the FX hype and/or thought Dawn was hott.
