Hi, i just got a MN-740 wireless adaptor, and i think the device itself is
bust. I'll list the issues and please let me know what you think.
Firstly, the xbox doesn't register that it's attached even though i have
checked the ethernet cable and port on xbox.
I think this stems from a power issue, as the power LED is very dimly lit
and seems (i'm not positive...because it's dimly lit) to be permanantly
orange.
I know that it is comparitively dim as the wireless LED will randomly turn
on for no apparant reason, and then turn off just as randomly.
Finally, i cannot seem to update the firmware as even when i connect the
device directly to my computer, it doesn't register.
All of these issues lead me to believe that the device itself is screwed,
and unless anyone can suggest possible solutions i'll probably have to return
it. (actually, even if you don't know the solution, can you suggest how i
might go about getting it replaced, as i bought it from a military base, and
can't return it there)
Any help at all would be most appreciated.
Thanx in advance
Tim
