Radeon 9800 pro high temp??

Hey,

i followed youre advice, and got the Saphire Radeon 9800 pro, i just added the Zalman ZM-80C cooler to it, and it runs great, iwe been running 3dmark03 and UT2004 and CS for about 6 hours straight,, i dont get any weird graphics errors or anything. but the zm-80c is getting VERY hot, to hot to touch..

now i know a 9800 pro should be used with the extra fan, but do i have to?? i mean if i dont get any weird artifacts issnt that a sign that it cools good enough?

Get the fan. That way you can insure your extra cooling with the knowledge cooler air is being circulated around your cards componets.

Yea that might be the wisest choise, dont want to burn my new 9800p card!
