Just found this at <A HREF="http://www.ati.com/products/PCIexpress/index.html" target="_new">http://www.ati.com/products/PCIexpress/index.html</A>
Other graphics companies have cards that are compatible with PCI Express, but they are still only AGP cards that are “bridged” by a second chip to be physically compatible with PCI Express slots on the motherboard. This architecture can only work at AGP speeds, and is more vulnerable to failure, performance bottlenecks and incompatibility with software applications.
I wonder who they could be talking about? lol

This is a press release we're talking about here. They dont go "Our competitor has the same product as us" in a press release, of course they're going to make it more benefical to themselves. Its like in a Apple G5 press release, they're not gonna say "AMD 64 owns us in everyway, just to keep that in mind" it'll be more like "G5 is the world's fastest computer!!"

Right, but which of those is a lie?

Interesting how nVidia PLANS to support native PCI-EX in future cards...so I'd say ATi can knock NV as much as they want for this, ATi is beating them to native PCI-EX support.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

I agree with what you are saying, but the A64 did not exist when Apple made the claims about the G5. Apple was comparing the G5 to the P4 and Xeon.
