No they aren't.
Intel HD 3000 cards (which you'll find in most laptops within your price range) can handle those games fine but still, the notebook won't be powerful enough. So may I ask that if your main usage is playing games like these titles, why don't you just get a X360 instead and save some $ ?

Those specs leave out the GPU. I highly doubt it will provide a pleasurable gaming experience with "hardcore games". BTW, what is a hardcore game? With those specs and that price I am assuming integrated GPU which isn't going to provide a good experience, at all.

Any HP Laptop model with a 260mb or 512mb of dedicated memory (GPU) would be ok. But If going by that price($500) am streamlined to an Integrated GPU, my fear is whither playing games like FIFA and PES with a little of picture designing wouldn't be too much too ask from a Corei3 Integrated GPU.

Does it have to be an HP? It has one of the worst reliability rates of any manufacturer. I just got a Lenovo Y470p refurb (1 year warranty from their Outlet site) with i5, 6gb RAM, AMD 7690 for $450.

The basic usage of the laptop wouldnt be for games. The major usage would be based on my assignment and projects @ d College. A little on graphic design. Watch movies at my spare time. Games would just be once in a while. But I wont a laptop that wouldnt give me problem with all this task.

Thanks, looks pretty cool, but I would prefer a Corei3 processor. :d

Really, that just another point am thinking about. Guess I don't even care if it HP or not. Am sure there are other brands that would deliver my desired result. Happy for you, that was a good deal. But such deals are rare. I really don't mind oh. :D

Newegg.com my friend, that is the place to go if you're looking for a $500 laptop. There's a refurb HP one for 519 that should play games like Skyrim and BF3 on med-high.Pretty good for that price.
