its very hard to compress divx video , make mods , record games movies , Surf internet, download things , download game demo, chat, play a game with your own setting, upgrade and personalise a console. ect... only to name a few things a console cant do.....

oh and the ps3 wont be 1000x more powerfull than ps2 this is just publicity. got it?

There's a problem with performance on paper, and the phrase, "in theory". In theory Native SATA should be faster than bridged SATA, In theory FX5800 was suppose to be twice the speed of 9700pro. So it's all bullsh*t until we see some in game performance.

Even if we give this guy the benefit of the doubt and the PS3 is 1000 times faster (which I highly doubt), it won't mean Doom for the PC. It just means that there's a more powerful console, nothing more. There are still games that don't compare to the controls, feel of a PC and the display of a hi-res monitor. Lots of people will always wanna play a game on their PC, plain and simple!
