Some notes:

You can only enter pauses and "extra digits" in the Favorites/speed
dial entries, not in the main Contacts entry.

If you are using a BT head set or speaker, setting any "extra digits"
to dial automatically will likely cause the BT communication to break
(it does here between my Treo 650 and my Parrot DriveBlue car speaker
kit).
