AIW work with NTSC and PAL?

Hi to everybody,

I am planning to buy in USA an ATI AIW, buy I fear it won't work with PAL TV signal. Does anybody know for sure if it works or not?

I believe you can change it's TV output standard in the BIOS, or even using the Omega drivers.

Ask around the Rage3d.com forums.

I don't know about the Omegas, but with Radedit you can change the TV output standard between NTSC and PAL. As far as inputs go, I couldn't really tell you.

But what it worries me is TV <b>input</b> singal, not the output. Can AIW series receive either NTSC or PAL TV?

I have been looking and it seems posible with output, but I want the card to record programs from diferents TV channels. And in Europe the use PAL while in USA NTSC.

Anyone has tried it? Any experiences? Any ideas?

The setting will control both input & output.
